Improved communication and process optimisation in HR and payroll
BearingPoint's HR has relied on outsourcing the payroll to HR Campus for years. As with many firms, successful communication with the respective outsourcing provider is key. BearingPoint's aim was to optimise communications channels to HR Campus's payroll specialists whilst simultaneously digitalising internal HR processes.
Instead of relying on a payroll desk tool and email correspondence as in the past, BearingPoint chose the innovative UKG HR Service Delivery solution. The People Assist module makes it possible to represent processes digitally and process them centrally. Using UKG People Assist, BearingPoint's payroll department can share updates, documents and forms directly with HR Campus's payroll specialists. Communication is now electronic on a case-by-case basis. As BearingPoint shares the same forms and documents with HR Campus as it uses internally, the process is simplified, accelerated and the documents received can be filed directly in the electronic employee files.
The monthly payroll is now also managed by HR Campus's payroll specialists using a process in UKG People Assist. This gives HR Campus an overview of the tasks that are still outstanding at any time. The individual tasks to be completed are automatically allocated to the correct person and can be completed in a timely manner. Thanks to this new simpler process, the flood of emails is reduced and tasks are completed efficiently and on time.
