SBB is passionate about its employees and this starts with their recruitment. Modern tools support sustainable recruitment.
SBB HR has bundled its decentralised recruitment into a newly created competence centre for recruitment. Alongside newly developed recruitment processes, the SuccessFactors Recruiting module was introduced to manage applications, thus ensuring an enjoyable and efficient application process for hiring partners, executives and, above all, applicants.
The SuccessFactors Recruiting module was introduced in a project organisation phase. Particularly noteworthy is the realisation of two different recruitment processes in the same tool. An interdisciplinary product team comprising members of HR, IT and the HR campus was set up directly after project completion. Since then, the collaboration has continued in classic scrum roles, which ensure the stable operation of the tool in the sprints while also driving ongoing development forward. We work together on site one day a week and particularly appreciate the consultative role of HR Campus.
The recruiting module is the central tool for all further developments within the “Sourcing, Recruiting & Talent” department and numerous extensions are docked onto this core. Since the introduction of application management, the functionality has been expanded to include video interviews, language tests, an employee recommendation programme, the CRM for the talent network, automatic candidate matching and psychological testing.
The members of this product team have built up a great rapport among themselves. The product team day is the highlight of everyone’s working week. The collaboration with HR-Campus is running enjoyably and smoothly. Everyone feels they belong together and are connected to the common goal, regardless of where they come from.
